How did the testing process work?

Stiftung Warentest, with the assistance of several hiking experts, tested some of our walking holidays in Germany and reported on them in the following categories: Website, Travel Advisory, Booking Process, and Completion of the Tour. The most significant emphasis is placed on the tour itself. In this regard, the testers paid particular attention to the following categories: Booking process, information about arrival and departure, accommodations, course of the hiking tour, service during the hike, and overall satisfaction with the tour. Particularly noteworthy in the Eurohike evaluation was the reliability of the travel information, especially regarding the daily stages, and how easily accessible and clear they were through the Eurobike & Eurohike on Tour-App. The excellent quality of accommodations and the successful organization of the hiking tours were also praised. Similarly, the reliable accessibility of the service hotline during the tour received positive feedback. Beyond these categories, the evaluation also scrutinized the advice and search aspects, including the personalized travel advisory provided by our travel specialists and the performance of our website. As before, we achieved excellent results in this category as well: Testers noted the clarity and intuitive usability of the website as distinct strengths.
