Lechweg – Long-Distance Hiking from the Source to Lechfall

The sparkling Lech River stretches a full 125 kilometers, from its source near Formarinsee in Lech am Arlberg at an altitude of 1,973 meters to the Lechfall in Bavaria’s Allgäu region. Up by the dark, shimmering Formarinsee, you can already feel its power, still cradled among countless mountain peaks. From there, the river carves its way through one of the last wild river landscapes in Europe, often untamed and rugged. You can practically inhale the freshness and vitality of its waters with every breath, as each step over rocks, through forests, and across meadows makes everyday life feel like a distant memory.

Majorca GR221 – La Ruta de pedra en sec (The Dry Stone Route)

Majorca's mountains are a hiker's paradise, especially along the GR221 long-distance trail. Stunning coastal views you can never get enough of, the alpine-like Tramuntana mountain range, the two reservoirs reflecting Majorca’s highest peak, and the fragrant citrus orchards in the idyllic Sóller Valley, which fill the air with their scent in the spring.

Charming artist villages like Deia and Valldemossa grace your path, alongside serene monasteries, sprawling estates, fincas, and delightful coastal towns like Port d’Andratx. The air is filled with the sweet scent of fragrant macchia, while lush, shady oak forests provide cool respite. You’ll be accompanied by the gentle presence of sheep and mountain goats as you wander the enchanting route of the dry-stone walls, a journey that is bound to capture your heart.
