Hiking on Majorca? Definitely! The popular Balearic island is ideal for an active holiday with plenty of sun, the finest cuisine and all the highlights that the mountains on the west coast have to offer. You will also walk along dreamy stretches of coastline, through idyllic gems and past magnificent gardens. Enjoy the dreamy flair of this corner of the world with us!
The starting point of the tour is the unique harbour town of Port de Sóller. The bay and the harbour invite you to take a walk right after your arrival. The first day of the tour is no less picturesque. The route takes you to Fornalutx, which has been voted "Spain's most beautiful village" several times. If you walk north from here, you will get wonderful views of the mountains.
Day 3 is mainly downhill: We start at the impressive Cuber reservoir and from there along a restored pilgrimage path that snakes back to Port de Sóller. In addition, there is an impressive coastal path to the tranquil Sa Calobra and from there a boat trip along the coast as well as a magnificent hike, starting from the artists' village of Deia through numerous bays. The rest day is suitable for an excursion to Palma, for example.
The picturesque bay of Pt. Sóller with its many sailing boats is a real feast for the eyes. Due to its great location in the northwest of the island, activities and tranquillity can be combined particularly well here.
Enchanting green valley of the oranges: A must-see! The region around Fornalutx is known for the cultivation of citrus fruits of all kinds and the corresponding delicacies. Jam, syrup and liqueur made from oranges, mandarins and lemons - a perfect treat to take home.
Impressive Tramuntana Mountains: "The north on the compass rose" is the name of this rugged yet charming mountain range, which is due to the cool north wind that blows across the island from there.
Majorca's famous west coast in all its facets: Rugged and at the same time gentle, dreamy but also lively - hardly any other destination is as diverse as Majorca and the west coast in particular.
Views to dream of: Enchanting bays, majestic rocks, the expanse of the sea - your eyes will not be able to get enough of the beauty of this spot on earth.

Starting from the coastal town of Port Sóller, you will hike the imposing Cuber reservoir, the idyllic Valley of Oranges and the rugged Tramuntana Mountains. In between, enjoy regional cuisine and the view of the sea.
Discover the marvelous promenade of Pt. Sóller during an initial stroll, dip your feet into the crystal-clear sea and enjoy a wonderfully refreshing orange sorbet. It could not be a more relaxing start to a hiking holiday.
Already on the first day you immerse yourself into Sóller’s orchard, whilst not only walking through juicy citrus groves with their colorful fruit, but also olive groves and almond trees line your path. This circular walk leads you leisurely from Pt. Sóller to Fornalutx, known as the most beautiful village on Mallorca, framed by the impressive Tramuntana Mountains. You finish the tour in the little town of Sóller, where you get to marvel at the lively goings-on at the main square before the cathedral. Then by the ancient tram to Pt. Sóller.
By transfer into the Tramuntana mountain world. You start the route at the Cuber reservoir, one of Mallorca’s most important impounding reservoirs featuring glistening water and an impressive view onto the Puig Major, Mallorca’s highest mountain. Past fragrant rosemary bushes you ascend leisurely to the Pass de L’Ofre, where a grandiose view onto the peaks of the Serra de Tramuntana awaits. You descend to Sóller along an ancient, terraced pilgrim’s trail. Enjoy the marvelous views into the mountain world and onto the coastline of Sóller.
From the Mirador de ses Barques-viewpoint, where again a grandiose panorama onto the coast awaits, you proceed through picturesque farmland featuring countless olive groves to a finca, where you refresh yourself with a freshly squeezed orange juice. Invigorated you ascend to the Cami Costera, where you get rewarded with a fabulous view onto the wild-romantic coastline. This unique coastal path leads you initially to the Cala Tuent and onwards into the famous Bay of Sa Calobra. Boat trip along the coast to Pt. Sóller.
There are numerous options on offer for your day of rest: it might be a time for relaxed sunbathing and swimming at the Playa and poking your toes into the sand or it might be further hiking bliss along one of the fantastic routes available amidst the Tramuntana mountains. Or maybe you fancy the urban touch by taking the retro-railway ‚Red Flash‘ into the city centre of Palma. We highly recommend you visit the market hall featuring all kinds of island specialities before strolling through the lively alleyways to the impressive cathedral ‚La Sineu‘. The choice is yours!
The finale to your hiking week features one more highlight: the renowned West coastal walk starting from the coastal town of Deia, towering high above the idyllic bay of Deia. Today yet again you proceed along the rocky coastline with a stupendous view and dozens of views onto little bays and a bit later higher up past lovely fincas back to the bay of Sóller, where you gently end your hiking week experience with a glass of wine.
